What could CS4 Photoshop have over the current version, it seems like they are popping out never versions quite often. I still run photoshop CS on my PC Laptop and that can do everything CS3 does on my mac except a few nice features, which I could get by without.

What are some of the new features?

I hope Pixelmator keeps up it’s development. I’d rather use that that fork out massively for this bloatware.

Photoshop for the web? Or how about a much better Fireworks?

It seems we (in the UK) are being stung on the pricing again. My friend found it was cheaper to fly to New York and buy a copy than it was to pay UK price.

Content aware resizing will be pretty good I reckon though you can already download a plugin for GIMP that does all that too.

    Best wishes,

Didn’t watch the show, but from what I’ve read about it so far, we’ll probably take a pass on CS4, especially at that price. CS3 meets our needs fine for now.

In live (that i didnt see all) was short part about that. And if it does what i saw from YouTube earlier than this official preview, its huge for me and making print-ads and coverthings etc. And ofcourse, for playing around =)

I will order the web premium pack. Can i finally get off from Corel (in vector side of the work) and start use only adobe =) (I have had Corel since version 6 or 7, dont remember anymore…). Atm. i mix-use corel and adobe for printed work!

This is for me like waiting for EEv2.0, gives me serious brainstorms even if there were no major improvements, its just that its new version =) heh…

ok, enough said, this day was freaking sad for us in Finland. 10+1 dead in schoolshooting… :(

Exactly. Adobe’s pricing in Europe is just insane. Think I’ll pass on CS4, CS3 is doing fine at the moment.

Adobe’s pricing for the US isn’t exactly sane either. Go Pixelmator and other indie devs!

I’m pretty sure that you are legally allowed to purchase the software from the States and use it in Europe though, sure I read that is legal somewhere.

    Best wishes,

Not a general comment, or anything, but I found this today and thought I’d share 😊

Turn off updates and only check them when you want to and then make sure you are using a powerful enough computer to handle the files you are working with. I use OSX 😉 I’ve never ever had to restart Photoshop once in my lifetime.

But if that graphic shows just that, how ofter he checks those updates “if available”. Clicking the link all the time  I think i have had 1timer with crashing, and that was long time ago…

Anycase, funny stats that reminds me for some odd reason: windows 98 =)

I would rather pay through the nose to read the correct English for colour else it bugs me. Sometimes my principles hurt.

Simon, you misspelled color. There’s no “U”.

    Sorry, I had to.
