I don’t know if many of you are subscribed to abduzeedo, but there was a fun post today (or yesterday, whatever).

You can test your color IQ on this site, shuffling color hues from one color to another. At the end the test measures how far off you were.

Here’s my result, why don’t you post yours here if you take/took the test!

Sadly this has no correlation to design skill.  I actually think I did pretty well.

I got a 4 when I took it last week. Sadly, I never imagined I would have a chance to brag about it, so I didn’t bother screencapping.

I would however like to point out that I SUCK at design. It’s all coding and UI for me.

I know this has nothing to do with design, but it’s (sorta) fun none the less. I realize now I actually got a pretty high score. I blaim my Samsung monitor that’s been breaking down for quite some time now. I really need to buy a new one.

    3 here

Found it a bit ironic that I purchased the other day one of x-rite’s products (actualy, the one bundled here). Haven’t received it yet, but it’s nice to know that my non calibrated CRT (mitsubishi diamond pro 930sb) and sight are not as deviated as I thought 😊

Maybe I’ll take the test again once the monitor is calibrated.

    Thanks for the link.

    My score: 30
    My age range: 16-19

But I must admit that I’m a tiny bit colorblind (darker greenish blue and darker bluish green hues look the same to me).
