How to Install the Plugin From Expression Engine Site To my Site?

    Hi Friends,


    I have a small doubt.How to install the EE plugin to our sites.i download the plugins from the Expression Engine Site the Plugin name as age calculator.And i install the EE in my Local server C:\xxxxxx\xxxxx\ExpressionEngine1.6.3\system\modules in that folder i paste the plugin after that i search the plugin in the EE module but it shows

    Error

    Unable to load the following language file:

    /lang.calcto age.phplike this.

    so help me out to solve this problem…..

    You installed the .lang files at the system/language/eng folder?

    The zip file doesn’t have a lang file.

    You may need to contact the writer of the plugin directly.

    Just noticed.. you mentioned putting the file in the Modules directory.

    It needs to go in the plugins directory instead.

    OK if i put the file into plugin directory we just use the plugin so no need to install the plugins?

    is it that you mean..

    As far as I can tell or remember, plugins are detected automatically when EE operates. You can go to Admin => Utilities => Plugin Manager to make sure EE has detected the plugin, once you’ve put it in the proper directory.
