    Help!

I’ve moved over my current website to a new server location, and the tinymce extension wasn’t working so I downloaded the newest version and overwrote the old version on the server. Now when I try to log into my control panel I get a few different errors regarding this extension and now I can not see anything in my cp. I tried removing the extension from the server but then I get a missing file error.

It was my bad, I should have disabled the extension first. What can I do to fix this?

    The errors I get are:

Notice: Undefined index: 1 in /home/megt/public_html/new-site/mansys/extensions/ext.lg_tinymce.php on line 1106

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/megt/public_html/new-site/mansys/extensions/ext.lg_tinymce.php on line 825

Hm- might be easiest to strip it out manually then reinstall it.  Go to ‘Admin- Utilities- SQL Manager- Manage DB Tables’ and browse the exp_extensions table.  In the ‘class’ field, you should see some rows that reference the tinyMCE extension.  What exactly is that class called?  If you use phpmyadmin or similar to delete those rows, it’s pretty much a deinstall.

Be sure to backup your exp_extensions table first.  And if that was massively confusing, if you give me the exact name of the class for tinymce I’ll write up a query that will do it for you.

    Make sense?

Ah Thank you so much. I was a little confused, but I have seemed to figure it out and it works now 😊

    One other question.

I would like to try to install it again onto my website. I have noticed that under extensions manager it is still there. Can i just enable it safely?

Yes, that should be no problem. Make a db backup before to be extra cautious, but I don’t see an issue with that.
