Well ok I’m being a bit dramatic, but a small slither of plastic has dropped off the front edge, by where the lid touches the case. I have the plastic piece, and should be able to glue it, but I’m suprised this has happened. I’m always careful how I handle it.
Anyone else had any bits drop off a Macbook White?

Is it on the right side of the case, about where your right wrist rests? If so, you aren’t alone. A little google searching turns up a ton of people who had their case break in the same place. My black MacBook broke in that place as well; considering my previous 12” PowerBook had so many warps and bent case bits, I’m willing to take a tiny sliver as payment for otherwise being bulletproof plastic.

As much as I love my Mac, I can’t say I’m sticking with them. I might go back to a high spec PC laptop when my Macbook retires. Too expensive for the build quality. My mate has a MBP and the superdrive constantly gives out. I had a PC laptop for years without any problems…
