I have a Proview 20” (normal aspect ratio).

I was looking at new monitors, but I came to this conclusion:

If you want a huge monitor, don’t go buying a computer monitor! Buy an LCD TV (like 37” for $800). They’re way cheaper, can support high resolutions, and also plug into Cable TV 😊.

Plus, makes one heck of a nice screen for gaming!

But your pixel density goes all to hell. You can get a 28” flat screen with higher pixel density and better resolution for the same as that 37”-er.

I guess it all depends on your setup, how far away you are from the monitor, if it’s mounted on the wall, etc..

My friend uses a huge 50” plasma on the wall that he plays PC games on.

I’d use it for TV, movies, and work, and have it on the wall, so I wouldn’t mind having a huge widescreen 37” lol.
