Can anyone tell me how to get the File option in the Field Type dropdown?
I have set up upload destinations but when I create a new Custom Field the “File” option isn’t showing in the drop down.
I have done this on localhost but this doesn’t seems to be working on the QA area.
Any suggestions?

This is probably a silly question, but did you load the File extension on the QA server and enable it?

OK.. I have done it.
The problem was I had uploaded everything but hadn’t enabled the extension like Ryan had said.. Thanks for the prompt to look there..

But now have the following error:
Unable to load the following language file:
/lang.mh_file_ext.php
Any suggestions?

Make sure the language file that came with the File extension is uploaded in the system/language/english directory on your server.
