Have anyone tried to use that database for website? I have it local and it is really turbo fast, but I am not sure about implementing with EE, can it be done and did anyone try it in web enviroment?

    Have never heard of it.

Do you mean to implement EE to use this database, or just alongside of it on the same website?

The former would be very difficult IMHO, the latter probably do-able.

Intersystems Cache satabase is extremly powerful, I have it here in my company where I do my day job 😊 and it is unbelievable how it is fast with milions od records. It is not as popular as MySQL or something similar because it is something completly different, and more complicated. I would like to use it with EE ... such site would be extremly fast ...but EXTREMLY fast ...

    More info: http://www.intersystems.com/

I am not advertising it 😊 I am just a user and programmer of user interface of that database ... it was just a courius question ... is it possible and has anyone tried it ... obviously not 😊

No - in my years here on the forums the question of using other databases has come up a few times, but the work required to get EE to work on something besides MySQL seems involved enough that no one has taken it on.
