    Hello,

I’m ready to kick off my site, just putting on this finishing touches I’ve ignored while developing the total look of the theme…
And I can’t seem to assign a category group to a weblog. In the dropdown menu, all I see is “None”

I have two category groups for my two blogs (each are for different purpose, one drives a calendar) and I need to assign the categories but it seems rather impossible. Is there a setting somewhere that could be causing the categories to not show up?

    Thanks,
    Keehun

If you’ve already done that, then I’m out of my depth.  😉

I wish Weblog Management, Category Groups and Field Groups appeared at the top as standard seeing that they get tweaked and referred to a lot it would make sense.

Thanks McGehee! Now, I understand how this category thing works. The Edit Group (which I failed to notice before posting) sets the set of categories (or more popularly called ‘tags’) and the preferences where I was looking at selects the default one selected.

    Awesome, thanks again McGehee!
