Hey all,

Just wanted to pick someone’s brains about EE core version.

I’m looking for a good CMS to teach my degree students [that’s free].  I’ve used EE a fair amount so thought the core version may be the best way to go.  I can’t find much written about this free version in terms of what it can and can’t do compared to the full version…... would some kindly tell me a bit about it’s features.

It’s the same code, really, the only differences are the license (not to be used commercially, mandatory link back to expressionengine.com), and a few missing modules. Oh, and no official support, of course. You can see the list here.

Apart from that, the core code is the same, byte for byte.
