they are trying to make us use this bloated crap at work instead of using mcms which is free for the city.
They spent over a million dollars to implement maximo and the funny thing is codeigniter which is free can create a program much better then ibm maximo could ever be for a lot cheaper
My question is this how can ibm charge over a million dollars to a municipality to use their software when programs like codeigniter exist?

first off they don’t use ajax in that every time you pull info from the database it has to load all the images as well and that really slows the whole process down
they use alot of pop up windows and such and god forbid you hit the browser’s back button the whole app crashes. you have to use their back button

Can you please explain how you came to this conclusion, I mean any feature that u miss your dislike.
