Which sport olympic team are you all referring too?

I haven’t had any problems at all—I keep it up all day at work. I’ve been nothing short of impressed with the video quality & the thoroughness of the library.

If I remember correctly, they only offered 1 or 2 events online at the last Olympics, so this is a pretty huge step.

And I don’t know why they went with Silverlight.

This is Microsoft’s big chance to get Silverlight installed on tons of machines, even those they wouldn’t normally be able to reach very easily, such as Macs. Until the Olympics site launched, there hadn’t been any compelling reason for large numbers of people to install Yet-Another-Plugin.

It may have been a bad move, though, considering how unreliable and crashy Silverlight has been for many users. Not to mention the scores of people whose platform of choice has been excluded from easy access to the online content.
