    Just to update you on a couple of things;

    1.  Conditionals aren’t currently supported, but conditionals for custom fields should be included in a future build;
    2.  Losing the form data is usually browser specific (looks at IE)- but like I say, same browser, same form- I lose it on yours I don’t on mine.  That suggests the server is playing a part.  I strongly suspect this isn’t EE specific.  You might try putting a form on a static html page outside of EE- see if it works there.

    Also- googled around a bit (this and this were of interest).  If you turn php on for a template and paste

    <?php print_r($_SERVER["HTTP_ACCEPT"]); ?>

    What’s the output?  On my EH hosted site, it’s:
    text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8

    Also- will likely shift to ‘How to’ as I’m fairly certain this isn’t EE specific.  But let’s take a look at your results first.

    Hi Robin,

    Sorry I was away for a while. Thanks so much for looking into this for me. I will let you know the results, but how do I turn on php for a template? I couldn’t seem to find it.

    Hee- I was on vacation, so your timing was just fine by me!

    Go to the template group in question- click ‘Preferences’ for that group.  You can then flip php on for any template in the group- and parse order doesn’t matter in this case.  (I’m reaching here a bit on figuring this out, but let’s just see what you get.)

    Hi Robin,

    I have copied the code on a test page in that folder and turned on php for it. This is what I get:
    text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8

    Does that help?

    Sorry SFU Surrey.  This on got skipped on follow-up.  And poop- no difference there.  I’m about dead sure it’s a server issue, but have googled all over and can’t spot the cause.

    Refresh my brain- we tried this with a stock tag that previews in the same page- and it still loses values.  Same setup on a different server worked fine.  Correct?
