I got a bit of extra time this evening while watching the Olympics. I challenged myself to make some slight changes to the default theme’s CSS file. I did not change anything about the HTML just the CSS. I increased the width to 940px. I used Eric Meyer’s CSS Reset. I also swapped out all of the colors for shades of gray. Anyway, You can see a screen shot and download the file here. Let me know what you think by commenting at the site. There will probably be more to come as this was a fun exercise.

Why not try modifying the control panel css?

hmm.. I might… Seems like most of the changes for 2.0 are taking place as part of a renews control panel so I don’t know how smart that is but I might just do it for those that are not looking to upgrade.

What did you have in mind?

Oh who knows, just thought it might be more useful to people not upgrading than the site template—as that’s pretty much the first thing to get blasted away. Just a thought!
