I am analysing a few options to build our site on and came across the EE. There are lots of buzz around EE and I believe it will be the right choice if the requirements are met.
In summary, we would like to have a subscription based blog hosting website with some community tools. Each member will have its private blog where she updates information about herself, post blogs, upload pictures etc. Then the member will select “friends” and invite them to read her post. Once accepted, the updates of the friends blogs will appear in facebook style “whats new” section. Essentially, we are talking about RSS updates of blogs between friends but not just for blogs, pictures and profile updates as well.
We require a fully customised look as well.
Can EE meet these requirements?
Can each member have their own blog/space in EE?
Can they be interlinked like I described?
What are the licencing options suited for the above?
