Hi There. I’m looking for some options for my client. They have several events throughout the year and I would love to put together a calendar mod with EE.

I did a bit of research and found the EE has one out of the box (exp:weblog:calendar) excellent! However, it looks like this is designed to show posts made on past days. Is it possible to have this calendar show events in the future?

For example, my client has an event in December 2008, so a they would post to a dedicated weblog for the calendar. Users would then be able to see that event on the December calendar.

Can this be done, or do I need to find an external mod? Can anyone recommend some ideas?

    THANKS!!

I just wrapped up a few tutorials on implementing an event calendar - possibly a way for you to jump-start development?  You can find them here, chapters 19-23.

Thank you. Now I can start on it.
And Mike, I may take you up on that, I just finished your eBook and it was VERY helpful!
