I don’t like scrolling up to the File Upload link (renamed File Manager in my case) when I need add an image to an entry…So I put the link code in the description for the custom field so the link shows up right by the field - next to the word “Instructions”.

I’m assuming this won’t cause problems? Anyone know?

    Here’s the code…

UPDATE: I removed the code I had pasted in this thread because it wasn’t showing up right for some reason.

Can’t see a problem with this at all, if anything kudos for a nice idea 😊

    Mark,

You should check out Mark Huot’s File extension, which does something like you want. It’s a great extension and I use it quite frequently in projects.

Thanks Ryan, I have actually used Mark Huot’s extension on pretty much every other site I’ve done because it is more user friendly than the File Upload feature. With this site however - the native File Upload feature works better as some entries use the same photo and I wanted to avoid duplicate uploads.

    Cheers.
