I’m curious about where people go to post jQuery questions. I’m just now starting to learn how to use this (seemingly wonderful) framework, and I’m running into a million newb moments/problems/questions.  I’ve done just a bit of Googling for jQuery forums, and have really only turned up only one that is used at all (and that one has only moderate participation at best).

I’m curious if anyone knows of any good jQuery forums?  I know there’s a IRC channel as well as a jQuery mailing list, but I really prefer the forum style interaction over both of those.

    So - jQuery forums anyone?

Jquery doesn’t officially run a forum that I’m aware of.
All they have is a mail list users group.
    Jquery UI group
    Jquery English group
Quite commonly you lose track of posts, questions, and topics you are participating in without a good forum.
They even have an old list on nabble so sometimes you wind up cross-posting on the old nabble mail list and the new google mail list and it’s just a good way to lose track of any important topics, sorry to say. They have a huge user group no doubt. I get a daily aggregate email of the email users group, but it mostly goes unread.
There is some good participation but it’s hard as heck keeping up with compared to a forum.
A forum seems so much more user friendly than a mailing list that just regurgitates everything.

I’ve also just seen this site: http://www.jqueryhelp.com/ when I looked today it had ‘breaking news’ that it was going to be the official jQuery help forum.

    Seems very active anyway.

Good to know. I’ve always felt that jQuery need such a community.
