a while back i came across a plugin / extension that allowed you to select multiple categories,i think via checkboxes? or different category groups being displayed in different <select> areas, but i cant seem to find it anymore.

can anyone point me to where i can find this?

Cocoaholic’s Category Checkboxes Extension should be what you’re looking for.

There was a hack out in the wild that did multiple select boxes.

BTW, in most browsers you can select multiple categories without the checkboxes, by holding down the CTRL key while clicking.

That said, I use the Category Checkboxes Extension too.

Checkboxes are much easier than taking an 8am phonecall from a client and reminding them to hold the the ctrl/option/cmd key (delete as appropriate for OS used).

Should be in the EE system as default… Yes I use this extension, its great.
