Basepath of Forums seems cached and will not update

I moved my forums to a new URL and updated the preferences for the forum URL but it appears to be cached.  How can I reset this?

Do you’ve got a link to the forum? Which version and build are you on? That said, the preferences are all found in the forum module’s CP, but I’d also check path.php and config.php to make sure.

The forum version is 2.1.0.  I have changed the setting in CP and have verified it has been changed in the db yet the forum tag {path:viewforum} still resolves to the old hostname. Looking at the code it looks as though this information is cached possibly not refreshing.

Have you tried to delete the caches manually to exclude that possibility?

I did use the “clear all caches” function in the CP but it did not help.  The only fix I found so far was to actually inject the correct URL in the _forum_path function.

Not a caching issue, then, I think. Have you taken a look at your path.php and config.php files?

I did.  No more references to the old URL.  I did a grep for any instances and couldn’t find any.

What version and build are you on? Are you using the MSM?

Hi, missionsolutions - just wanted to check in with you on this one.  Did you still need help? If so, knowing the version and build would help a great deal.

    Thank you!
