I have GD Support enabled and the captcha directory is 777. The the text asking the user to enter captcha text is showing, just the image is not showing. Any ideas why the image is not there?

Double check this kblog entry- you’ve hit most of the suggested issues, so my bet would be ‘true type font’- try turning that off (if it’s one).
Any luck with that?
