Everyone deals with comment spam.
I wish to keep and track spammy author names, emails, and IP addresses.
I’ve created a CLOSED status entry titled, ‘***QUARANTINED***ENTRY***’, where I move spammy comments too.
Without the use of addons, what are your methods?!

Everyone deals with comment spam.
By deleting the junk that makes it through the countermeasures. It’s not worth my time to archive it (why archive?), but I have added a few particularly obnoxious spammers to my iptables shun list.
