Just out of interest Derek (and anyone else that might know) is it okay to package something like jQuery up with something you have created. Do you have to contact them first or is there a page somewhere with all the requirements on to do this.

I only ask as I am constantly showing people how to do things and always point people as to where to download certain files from but was just wondering how correct it is for me to include their jQuery files along with whatever file I write?

Hopefully I didn’t side-track too much but the screen-shot just got me wondering.

    Best wishes,

    Mark

Just in case anyone is wondering what screen-shot I was on about this thread was split from this one here.

Thanks for any information on this one. I’m probably missing the answer staring me in the face somewhere but it’s been a long long day for me so that’s my excuse! 😉

    Hi Derek,

Thanks for the link. We posted at the same time. Told you I was tired - was under my nose all the time!

Thanks again. Will go away and try to understand all the legal mumbo jumbo that those kinds of licenses involve! 😊

    Best wishes,

    Mark

Where did you try looking?  It’s on the table of contents of the jQuery documentation, and a Google search can get you there with almost no effort. 😛

I’m not going to answer that one, surely I’m allowed to make a mistook every now and then am I not? 😉

    Best wishes,

    Mark
