Where did you purchase that syringe type coffee contraption?  I want one. I’m tired of making huge pots of coffee.

    Edit: I found one.

I’m a coffee snob and proud of it! But I’m also a cheap-skate. Those two often conflict and the Aeropress is a great compromise. EspressoMyEspresso has some worthwhile Aeropress tips.

The “gold cylinder” is a Zassenhaus Turkish Mill.

I forgot what the coffee was but its most likely a roast from either Cultiva or Good Sip both local roasters here in Lincoln.

    1. Can you enter if you have already been featured in a Showcase?
    2. How do we submit the video (I read it three times but don’t see the answer.

    Cool stuff!

    1. Yes!

    2. There is a Video Submission form at the bottom of the Show Us Your Mug! page. You have to be logged in to see it. I’ll add a link to it from the opening paragraph to make that more clear.

Edit: It would also have been helpful if a certain VP had updated the Mug weblog permissions before taking it live.

Thanks for the links. They were very useful.

I used to consider myself a coffee snob. But when I finally changed from paper cups to regular mugs I realized the paper was a major contributor to the flavor I thought I had perfected. :D

This was a trip to see…so many blisters…so much copper in the bloodstream…reminds me of the old country and made very jealous of your setup…now I want coffee…nooo not the drip crap 😉
The idea and the clip is awesome!

I found a grinder that’s comparable to the one linked above and at a great price. There’s no picture, but if you look at the other Pepper/Spice Mills by the same company they look much like the Turkish one Leslie linked.

I see this thread is being derailed via coffee. I did months of research on a grinders (manual and motorized) and the Zassenhaus Mills are very unique in their quality and craftsmanship. The Amazon one may be a good grinder, I don’t know, but its not a Zassenhaus. I wouldn’t buy a grinder I couldn’t see a review of some sort for. For those interested, Coffee Geek’s How to Buy an Espresso Machine is a good starting point.

I can only assume that after everyone gets their coffee the videos will start rolling in 😊

@sean - Thanks, got it! Your mug will be shipped out shortly.

What if we just have a face meant for radio 😉

You know, we’re well aware that us web pros ain’t exactly super models. If I put my face on video now and then so can anybody. But if “showing the face” is the only thing holding you back from a video we can update the requirements to change that.

Does that requirement make people to self-conscious?

I was just joking but I can imagine it could make some uncomfortable.
