If you are talking about forums going deuce as in 2.x then yeah, I noticed that last year.
Or are you talking about the 2.1 update? Always nice to see an update but it is relatively minor.

Oh sh-ee-t that’s old news then :(
My bloglines account reset and showed 200 new entries in the New Sites categories, so I thought maybe they had just launched the new version.
Sorry… I didn’t take the time to research that one.
The version numbers on the forum aren’t aligned with the big-ee app then, I’ll make a note of that.
This was a post for the lounge then, not much to discuss.

All the different EE components version independently. So the forum being 2.x has nothing to do with EE 2.x. If the forum update were new, it would be 2.0 rather than 2.1 so that is your best indicator. 😉
