Ok, I cannot figure this one out. I just purchased the forums module and installed it on my site (http://www.nerdcentric.com). Problem is if I try to goto http://www.nerdcentric.com/index.php/forums/ it just loops to my main site and I never see the forums.
I am sure it is something simple, but I am not finding any forum messages/FAQs pointing me in the right way. Thanks in advance for your help!

Found my issue from http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/72595/#359116. Looks like “$conf[‘forum_is_installed’] = “y”;” was missing from my config.php. I think I know how it happened too. I switched my config.php back to read only after a recent upgrade. Guessing it should stay 777?

It should be 666, actually—no “execute” permissions are required.
