I haven’t seen any news regarding v.2 announcement dates (let alone a shipping date) or upgrade pricing.  I’m keen to read exactly what new features are to be available other than the interface overhaul. When can you give us all an update?

Derek, many thanks to you and the team for keeping a close eye on EE 1.N.  This update with the vulnerability fix is particularly welcome.

It gives a good feeling as far as 2.0 is concerned also - that we will not have to jump in at a critical moment for our own site, and can upgrade as the 2.0 shakeout and own timing match up.

One point.  I did actually check yesterday to see if there were any new Builds listed on the forum - and seem to find only a Forum update since 1.63.  If this was intentional to avoid broadcasting the cross-site, well and good, as I picked it up when I opened the Admin panel today, and will future check that first.

Thanks again to all - really pleased these days with what ExpressionEngine is doing for me.

    Regards,
    Clive

Indeed, Clive, the Build forum is only used for incremental build updates, not version announcements, which are in the announcement forum, the blog, and if enabled, in your control panel.
