    Moderator’s note: Moved to General.

I’d like to add an image upload button to the category fields, I found a couple that work with custom weblog fields(LG IMAGE MANAGER is particularly good) but it doesn’t seem to work for category fields anyone know of one?

don’t quote me(and maybe one of the friendly EE moderators will correct me if I’m wrong) but I think I read somewhere that the 2.0 release of EE will address this in some way or another.

But I haven’t found a way to it with 1.6 yet.

    good luck.

I think you’re right about 2.0. But unfortunately this particular site is going live in the next week or 2 so an immediate solution would be ideal. But, not a big deal - can always educate the client on how to add the images. 😊

I was just looking for an answer to this problem too. To ask the client to resize and upload an image via FTP then find the Category Image URL field and insert URL is a bit much for the web-o-phobic. Seems like there should be some sort of workaround til 2.0 comes out and solves all life’s problems . . . but I haven’t been able to find one.
