any recommendations for a CRM for a client - an SME with offices in UK & US. I understand that this would mainly be for service/queries, so client facing.

Depends on how many people but systems such as Salesforce or Act! spring to mind.

Customer Relationship management is there any solutions you are looking at so far then? For a Small to medium enterprise. Might be interesting to see what gets a nod, trying to spell out the acronyms since I had to wiki them 😉

sorry bout the acronym’s!
it’s for about 10 people. They want to make sure that queries don’t slip thru the cracks.

thanks for clarifying Jan, think I gotcha now, is live chat something you are considering then for site visitors, or aren’t they web based leads?

@tz3ee - ‘live chat’?
It wasn’t a web-site based solution that they were looking for [i don’t think] - it was just a vague question that was passed my way.
I think what happens is that enquiries come in [either pre or post sales] - and, at the moment, there is no certain way of positively ensuring that they have been properly dealt with and the customer is happy. Maybe someone is ill or on holiday or something and with the best will in the world, the others may not realise that it needs picking up…
