    Hello all,

I’m new to the EE forums so just thought I’d pop in and say “g’day from Australia mate” 😛

Recently (tonight) just brought and installed the latest EE software on my website over at “paul-maguire.net”  now it seems the fun of ‘doing my head in’ starts trying to figure out how to get the index page templates how I want them!!

    any way talk soon!

    Thanks,
    Paul

    Hi Paul!

Welcome to the forums and the EE community! There’ll probably be a few issues to sort out in the next days and weeks, but I find our community amazingly friendly and helpful, so I’m sure you’ll get them sorted out in no time. So, again, welcome, and no worries 😊

Thanks for the welcome guys.. yeah I basically want to run my personal site using EE as it looks very good for what i have in mind and it seems to work so well for other users for a range of different applications at hand!

    - I want to get more musicly active again.. so I want to have a page where I can upload tracks for showcase and download
    - I’ve got my car project which is a Ford Falcon 1989 XF im working on which i’d like to put a project log up on another page in the site

    - then just other basic pages you quite often see on personal sites such as about page, main page(news and blogs). etc

any advice on how I should go about this would be appreciated.. but the way things are lately I think i’m going to have to find someone to undertake this work for me ... which is a pain as that will most likely hurt the pocket but when your strapped for time what can you do lol 😛
