Hi, i have added 2 custom fields to write path to thumbnails images to images for articles. One works wine but other outputs with html entities like this:

    % 3 C p % 3 E /images/story.jpg % 0 A % 3 C / p % 3 E

(added to space so forum will not convert them)

    This entities mean

Can you tell me what is the problem? Both fields formatting set to none.

Hm- makes no sense to me why they’d be behaving differently.  Is it possible to link to an example page?  And what exactly do you have in each of the custom fields (just an example of what’s in one- on the publish page)?

My guess is you have set formatting to “None” in one case, and “XHTML” in the other. Set both to “None”.

Nevermind. Just make sure they really are set to none.

As you say that they are both set to none it may be that they were originally set to XHTML and then you set them to none but you may have overlooked the check-box that shows at the bottom of the page when updating the custom field?

Ensure that you check that box first. You would probably need to set the field back to XHTML first and re-save it then go back and edit the custom field again and this time select none ensuring to check the box at the bottom of the page before re-saving the custom field type. This page here has a little bit of information on it under the Default Text Formatting section at the end.

Hope you get it working soon.

    Best wishes,

    Mark

Thanks for advice. Yes xhtml formatting was set first. I deleted it and added again and this works fine now.
