a few days ago a ran into the EE 2.0 demo and I liked what a saw 😊

Besides that, I am a developer myself, and I noticed the use of jQuery and the tablesorters. My question is: which tablesorter has been used, because there are a lot of different versions and releases. Is it the official plug found on http://www.tablesorter.com?

The reason I ask is because I am working on a small project myself, and I want to integrate a decent tablesorter 😊

    TIA!

It does look slick, doesn’t it.  I don’t know what they’re using- haven’t got my grubby little hands on 2.0 yet.  So- I’m going to shift this over to ‘General’ as it doesn’t involve the current code base- and I’ll give the crew a ‘heads up’ on it.  See if they can chime in on what was used.

I watched the demo again, and I am sure it’s the official jquery plugin (http://www.tablesorter.com).

But I am really curious about the pagination, because the default tablesorter addon fetches ALL data, and then generates the pagination. With 20.000+ members/rows that doesn’t sound as a good idea 😊

So my question is really about the pagination: is it done with a existing addon, or is it custom made. I already integrated the tablesorter, but struggling with the pagination structure 😊

    Thanks

All of the available information on EE 2.0 is available in the Sneak Preview.  As for the Table Sorter - which one we’ve chosen is not yet public information

For your own projects, we’d always recommend that you try out all of the available options and choose which is best suits you.
