I have a number of corporate clients and have been monitoring browser stats closely to see the effects of the forced update to IE7 on Feb 12th.

Specifically for corporate clients I’ve seen very little drop in the number of visitors on IE6.

I’m finding that IE6 still represents about 50% of visitors. Clearly at this level it needs to be supported.

I’m wondering what other people are finding for corporate clients following the forced update?

Of all IE users, we’re getting 63% in favour of IE7 on our site since said date.

A different user base, no doubt, but during the past 30 days or so our IE users (nearly 90% of our total) break down as:

    v7.0 - 61.38%
    v6.0 - 38.40%

    On my site IE6 is 14%, IE7 is 38%.

OT: To my surprise, Firefox 1.x is 36%, while Firefox 2.x is only 1%. Given my traffic, I suspect my wife and I account for most of that 1%.

With FF3 almost out, that’s kind of sad.

Hadn’t looked at mine in some time.  My personal site of course attracts a more tech oriented crowd and Mac users.

    43% Firefox (40% using 2, 2% using 3, and 1% using 1)
    27% IE (24% using 7, 3% using 6, and the other 1% split between 5.5 and 8.0 lol)
    27% Safari
1% Opera (Ingmar must visit my site, hehe)

Nothing wrong with Opera. I use it too. 😊 But I’ve got way too much invested in using FireFox. So the other browsers are only used for testing things like logged in versus guest, superadmin versus member, etc.

So, I am the resident Operist, huh? Nice reputation I’ve got myself there…
