A couple days ago I mentioned that Andru had recorded the EE 2.0 Sneak Preview. Good news, the video is now live at, um, GearLive. Check it out (and thanks Andru)!

Excellent watch.
Answered a few questions which i was going to post up at some point.
Can you use other JS frameworks? : Yes
Commerce module? : Yes coming and its important to you guys aswell as customers
How powerful and easy is it to make custom add ons without disrupting other parts ( anyone ever used Zen Cart? Oh Dear!)etc ? : Seems to highly modular and the power is there.
Thought everyone came across exceptionally well there. Great and informative advert for the business. EE 2.0 is getting closer day by day!

Been out and about and relying on my EVDO or WiFi for (libraries/coffee shops) for access. Must be on a slow server as I had no trouble doing an iTunes movie rental at three times the size. Waited an hour and the iPod version was still only half done. :-(

Thanks for the link Leslie. Good video. Slight shame about the audio (would have been nice to get a feed direct from your table mics) but the presentation of the video was very nicely done. Congratulations to Andru.
PX I think that the Gearlive website is either getting a lot of traffic or indeed on a slightly slower connection as I tried to download the full video but gave up about half-way through also. Admittedly the Apple site is going to be blisteringly fast though as their servers are simply astonishing.
Great video though and nice to see.
Best wishes,
Mark

Ya, I tried the large one first and realized I’d be there for days. Then tried the iPod version and finally gave up. When I have enough time in one spot, I’ll try again. Can’t wait to see it. And do appreciate GearLive making it available.

If you have a download manager you might try that. With Speed Download I grabbed the large version in a reasonable amount of time.

If they had trouble with their server, it’s gone now. I just grabbed the mp4 at a blazing 6 MB/sec. The download was faster than the site loading.
