    SXSW 2008 happened over a month ago and yet its just this afternoon that I’ve managed to clear a little bit of time to post some closing thoughts about it. To say that March and April have been busy would be a tremendous understatement but still, this post is long overdue.

    Oh gosh Dru please… the audio recording they released… um, how to delicately put this?  Well, let’s just say a video would be greatly appreciated 😉

    I had a James Boag today and I thought of you guys!

    Glad you enjoyed it and I hope it helps spread the news about decent Aussie beer in the US!

    I have to say the same, it was a great time meeting people in person, chatting with many of our hosting clients, and a good number of you that have become clients since SXSW 😊  I do agree too that I would have liked to have stayed and extra day or two for more time to meet and chat with people!

    Here is looking forward to next year!

    Alright peeps - here’s the video.

    The audio is a LITTLE hard to hear at times, but if you turn up your sound a smidge, it is all good. I also added text during the Q&A;session so that, if you didnt hear the question, you still knew what the team was responding to.

    You can check it out here:

    ExpressionEngine 2.0 sneak peek and Q&A;

    PLEASE feel free to grab the embed and put it on your site(s), share it with friends, etc. I am also gonna throw it up on Digg tomorrow with the hopes that you guys can help get the video some attention. Seriously, the EllisLab team deserves it. I’m tired of seeing Wordpress and Drupal all over Digg’s front page, with nary an EE mention 😊

    Love to hear your thoughts.

    Andru, you are awesome.  This is great… pure awesome.  Sincere thanks.

    And let me also say that the production quality you added with captioning and your intro really added to the video.  Super impressed.  On behalf of the whole community, thanks man.

    No problem - I was happy to do it. The world needs to know… 😊
