    Tastes great, or less filling?

How very fitting, this comment made you a “Power User” after all these years… Welcome to the club 😊

It won’t last. I lost ground before because the classes had to be redefined. And I think if anything signals the need for redefinition it’s me getting promoted. 😉

You mean they should raise the bar again? Hard to argue with that, what do you think about 2500? Personally, I think there should be a rank above Power User, you know, something to aspire to 😊

    Yeah. How about, “EE Demi-God”...?

I like Space Cadet, or Expressioneer.

Magic Maker has a nice ring to it. Maybe Forum Slave?

Also, Albino Chicken might describe what that post mark might mean to your health…

You mean commenting here isn’t a bona fide hobby…? :gulp:

Afterthought: I just noticed the new rank names.

In the middle of posting a reply on the forum I saw all the member groups name change.

Can the EE team confirm the names now?

    I see:
    Summer Student
    Grad Student
    Lab Assistant
    Research Assistant
    Sr. Research Assistant
    Lab Technician
    Research Scientist
    Admin

I guess we are all part of the EllisLab now 😊

That’s awesome! Does that make Lisa a Mad Scientist? 😛

Congrats on the promotion to Lab Technician!

We’ve got so many members with over 1000 posts that the default example ranks just don’t do our two forum communities justice.  The new forum ranks let everyone have a role in the Lab. :-D

Quick eyes, Dabbledoo.  You’ve got the order mixed up a teeny bit, and there is one elusive forum rank that no one has seen yet…

Oh, and Administrator and Moderator are special titles bestowed on users based on the discussion forum administrative settings, and are apart from the Member Ranks.

    Hmmm,

I was never very good at Chemistry and so I think the title I have is a little far fetched, oh well. Nice to have a new one 😉

Just hope I don’t blow anything up as I always had problems knowing whether you mix the blue stuff with the orange stuff or should that be the red stuff?

Also how far off is Lisa from the rank no one has seen yet? Is it God perchance?

    Is there a Doctoral/Post-Doctoral?

And how about Janitor. Let’s please not forget the real people that clear up all the mess we get ourselves into constantly!! 😉

@Jared - Doc/Post-Doc sounded too stuffy for me, particularly when a user might sit at that rank for a long time.  Sr. Research Associate is the equivalent of Post-doc in the EllisLab hierarchy.

@Mark - There are members that have enough posts for the new rank, but as they are all either Moderators or Administrators, you’d not see their rank.  And no, no janitors.
