I have almost finished a site where articles can be rated using solspace’s rating module. The problem is that the client would like the person rating to be able to register at the same time.
I assume what I want to achieve can be accomplished with an extension hook but with this is currently outside the scope of my capabilities so I think I have the following questions:
Can the rating and registration be achieved with an hook?
If so is there any guides that will explain it to a complete noob? I’m confident at writing procedural code but OOP is outside of my comfort zone although I am willing to learn.
Finally I am pushed for time and I realise there is a professional network. With a job like this can anyone give a ball park figure on what it might cost?
