    I have 10 weblog sections in my site currently.

    News, Travel, Sports, etc. and want to have subsections for them

    (News)
    ->Local
    ->Global
    ->Today’s News

    {Travel)
    ->Local Trips
    ->Cruises
    ->Exotic Getaways

    Do I have to make a weblog section for each subsection?

    I will be using weblog custom fields for each is it best to have 10 template groups or do I need 10 + all of my sub cats?

    I am a little confused but understand the concept but not how to arrived at the solution yet:) Thanks!

    I would make the subsections categories. You could then have one custom field group per section and one template group per section.

    Ok I have given it a shot and run into another question.  I make a category called local news.  I then have made the connection with the weblog to use “local news” category.  The only thing is I made the new weblog using the weblog section News. I then connected to the new category when I was editing the weblog under Categories.  Is this what my url should look like? http://www.example.com/index.php/news/local_news/man_gets_rebate

    When the page loads it just lists all the weblogs that belong to news.  So that is why I am confused as I just need to show that local_news article.  Please forgive me ahead of time if I am confused and not making any sense:)
