In quoting text where there is a single letter change it is common to set that letter off with square brackets. I had an entry that was quoting text that started with “Instead”—the way I was quoting it I needed to have it as “instead.” The proper way to indicate that it was quoted text was to square-bracket the “i.” pMcode then interprets this as the start tag for italics. Is there anyway to have a square-bracketed “i” in an entry field? I have EE 1.6.2 with “Allow All HTML.” Thanks.

    You mean like this:

    [i]

    I used & #91;i]

Remove the space between & and #
