    Since I’m coding w/CI, might as well ask fellow CI developers…

    I am using Komodo (ActiveState). It’s ok but it’s too bloated. Sucks up 60+ megs of memory just to launch the software… Is there any lite IDE for windows that has the minimum?

    PS: I used to program with emacs but I need the windows explorer type panel on the side for fast nagivation.

    There’s a pretty lengthy discussion of this at http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/44677/.  You might want to poke through there.

    If you use windows, e could be a good choice. It is like a port of TextMate.

    I’m using the notepad++ on Win. (http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net)

    It’s simple, GPL, good for css, html etc., has plugins like function browser.

    I like Notepad++ too, but I use PSPad Editor (Windows). Great software.
