Hi guys!

My problem is :

i use customized Member Profile Templates and a “members” named template group with the

{exp:member:manager}
{content}
{/exp:member:manager}

method.

My Profile Triggering Word is “member”.

Everything is fine, but if i push the submit button in the member pages i get blank page.

Example:

Im in the members/edit_profile/ url and when i push the submit button the engine droping me to the member/update_profile/ page and i get blank page.

When i rewrite the Profile Triggering Word to members, my all member pages are blank.

I dont know what is the problem. All worked fine with 1.5 after i upgraded to 1.6.1 i get only blank pages when i rewrite the PTW to “members”.

Wishmylove, that functionality went away with more recent versions of EE. You can no longer use a member template group you create yourself.

So you can remove that template group, and set your Profile triggering word to members, it’ll work again.

This is terrible news, because lots of things not working in the Member Profile Templates.
I dont know what is the motivation by this change..

I think i need downgrade.

Dear Sue please tell me where can i find the older versions, because i find only the newest version in the download area.

There are no older versions of EE available for download.

Sue won’t be on until tonight- but if you pm me, I can see it in action.  That said- it will help a lot if you can describe what’s failing here.  That keeps all of us techs up-to-date on the issue.

What I would likely do is put up a clean copy of the member profile templates- use the regular trigger word- and see if a stock version is working as intended.  It should be.  Then you can go from there on tweaking it out.

Hi Guys!

I installed full clean 1.6.2 ee and the problem is solved. 1.6.2 is compatible with the {content} method, so please dont touch it in the future, this is good.

Btw i dont know why u said, 1.6.0 and newer versions are not compatible with this method. This is why i got confused.
