Sorry for my ignorance, but why would it be funny? I was actually thinkign about using it!

Well I’m glad my posting helped you then. The funny thing was that I was a little embarrassed that I overlooked the obvious, as it later became very clear to me to just use “date”, and I was looking for something specific like “current_path” or similar to give me the current date’s path.
