A client is trying to create a entry that has an anchor An Anchor at the top of the entry, and the related id at the bottom <div id=“some_anchor”>The anchor go-to</a>.  However, the href just gets rewritten to http://www.domainname.com/index.php#some_anchor.  Has anyone else experienced this, or know how to fix it?

    Thanks!

    Could it be this setting?...
CP Home ›  Admin ›  Weblog Administration ›  Weblog Management ›  Edit Weblog > Weblog Posting Preferences
Automatically turn URLs and email addresses into links? Yes/No

I wish it was that easy 😊  That setting is already set to ‘No’

Hm- I’d probably put anchors in the template rather than the entry, but let’s see what’s up.  Can you paste inside code tags a sample of exactly what they’re putting in the textarea field- and if possible, link to the rendered output?

I’m going to have to get back to you on this one - it appears that the TinyMCE extension might be the cause of the problems.  If that’s the case then I guess I’m on my own for fixing it.

Ah- that one hadn’t occurred to me.  Yep- could be in play.
