    Maybe my english is not the best !! but I’m sure you prefer to have english comment then French. I do my best, but I don’t want to past half of the time to search in dictionary to know if my comment is in right english syntax.

    @Craig Rodway what kind of computer you have and what version of PHP you use ? because I have try my framework with a little p3 700 128 meg ram ubuntu with PHP 5.2 and I got a 0.0086 sec (avg)

    By the way I really like codeigniter (and of course is documentation)  and I have loved to work with. But now PHP 4 is dead, it’s time to move to PHP 5 and PHP 6.

    I don’t think you/we need to worry about it too much. It’s a friendly community, I’ve never seen a negative comment on someones English here.

    Oh my god! That’s impressive. My computer is far from edge, but with a 2GHz CPU and 2GB memory, I get pretty much the same results as Craig. Well, we all know Windows sucks. 😊

    There are people who believe it is (I know for sure it is not), but CodeIgniter is Freedom itself. 😉 You think PHP4 is dead than you can just act so…

    @parchambault: No, not picking on your langauage at all, it’s some times innocent mis-spellings produce a slight element of humor :D

    The machine I ran those tests on is an Intel Centrino 1.5GHz laptop with 512MB RAM and running Windows XP. I have several linux boxes I could test it on but haven’t yet.

    Micro-shmicro.  Blah.  I’ve written the smallest, fastest framework ever.  Way smaller and faster then even CodeIgniter.  check it out and you’ll be impressed.

    @Derek: Love the framework - but I think you should drop the support for PHP4 to speed it up a bit and take full advantage of PHP5 😉

    I made the first website using Derek’s framwork!

    woot.gexla.com

    I added one library to it.

    echo "insert website here";

    @Lone: keeping PHP 3 support (and PHP 7 support) is important to me.  I don’t think we’ll drop to pure PHP 5 just yet.

    @John: that library is SWEET!  I’ve updated my post with your information… please share it with my site visitors also!

    @all: sorry for thread-jacking 😉

    @Derek: What licensing model are you using for your micro-framework, I didn’t see any documentation in the download. 😛

    @Derek: The size is great, lacks a bit functionality. Has someone benchmarked this already?

    Derek Allard, your framework blows.  My code runs like crap on your framework, and I know I’ve done everything right.  To make matters worse, my logs are getting full from all of the framework’s syntax errors!

    When will the next release of Igniter-zen-i-rails appear?

    I think Derek has been hinting that 2.0 isn’t far off 😉

    The version 2.0 would be:

    <?php
    sleep(1);
    // enter code here
    ?>

    Well, you know, a new version have more features, so may it is a little bit slower…
