    Challenge:
    ==============================

    - Posting of simple html only posting (paragraphs and links). (showing author and date/time)
    - Easy login (cached login for easy quick posting later)
    - I don’t want to have to enter the EE backend each time I want to post.

    Would be solutions:
    ==============================

    * Post via IMified.
    I’ve requested a developer pass from these guys. I’m hoping to see how hard/easy it is.

    * Post to Tumblr, scrape feed and dump it into EE install using feedgrab plugin:
    Almost works, but has issues, and is really convoluted. If anyone has this working, I’d love to see what you have going.

    * Post via a front end form at site that shows post upon post.

    ==============================

    Does anyone have any suggestions, experience, thoughts, quotes, favorite foods?

    I don’t know if these are quick enough, but you can use Google Docs or Zoho Writer (probably other similar online tools). Also, if you use Windows you might look at Windows Live Writer. All three will post directly to your blog. There is a Mac tool that a lot of folks here seem to use, but I forget the name (not a Mac guy). I don’t know anything about those two that you mentioned, so maybe I’m way off track.

    You can post via email using the MoBlog module.

    EE supports the metaweblog api which may open a few doors.

    Otherwise what about a lightbox or pop-up window which showed a login page (with ‘remember me’ option) via an iframe (if using lightbox) that then returned you to a simple SAEF so you could post from there?

    Otherwise the app -> email -> moblog module -> ee way may be the way to go as mentioned.

    Mayest, Pxlated, Luke,
    THANKS!

    I’ll be taking a look at these alternatives and post back here when I’m done. I appreciate the help, and the rediculously fast and solid replies.

    Matthew
