Has anyone used Google Docs for weblog editing?

Is anyone using Google Docs to post to EE?  I just started using this program and its very good especially if you work from multiple places. I just saw that you can post to your blog using the metaweblog api; however it only seems to work with your default weblog.

Does anyone have any experience they can share?

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for pointing me to this feature. I didn’t realize that Google Docs could do this. I haven’t tried it yet, but I noticed that if you go to the Publish tab there is a link to “set your blog site settings.” If you click that, it looks like you can change the Blog ID/Title. I guess you would have to do that every time that you want to post to a different blog. If you have more than one blog, it would be nice if they gave you a choice of which one to publish in.

I’m interested in your experience. How does it handle images and other files? I’ve been using Windows Live Writer a little bit, and it is nice, but I can’t get it to handle images and files the way that I would like (it insists on creating its own subdirectories).

I’m not that far into using the feature yet. I’m also trying out Zoho Writer. It seems to have much more functionality than Google Docs. It also let’s you post to your blog.

I tried the Zoho tools a couple of years ago, and I found them to be much better than Google’s. IIRC, they are much more Microsoft Office compatible. I’ll have to take a look at Writer again. I really need something that makes it easier to post to the blog, and I like the idea of using something outside of EE.
