    For a consistent site look and to makes things easier on myself I have decided to run forums through regular templates using the {exp:forum} tag. Everything seems to be working well except for the after-post redirect.

    When Submit Post is clicked the post is indeed saved, but it shows a white page with this error:

    Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by
    (output started at ~/system/language/english/lang.forum.php:1) in ~/system/core/core.functions.php on line 296

    Helpful info:

    * Since I’m running forums through EE templates, the forums trigger word in Forum Preferences is left blank
    * ExpressionEngine 1.6.1 | Build:  20071204
    * PHP 5

    Thanks in advance for any help,
    Brian

    That error usually indicates blank space before or after the opening and closing PHP tags.  You might try re-uploading your lang.forum.php file to ensure that isn’t happening.

    I would also recommend updating both EE and your forums to the latest version, that will cover the file upload as well.

    Spot on, Lisa. There was a space before the opening PHP tag in lang.forum.php. Removed and page redirects as expected.

    Thank you!
