I am using the Foreign Character extension which converts the foreign letters in the URL title into lower ASCII characters. This works fine when I publish the articles from the Control Panel. When I use MarsEdit or Ecto, the URL title for an entry is automatically generated, and all the foreign characters are removed, leaving the URL title meaningless. Is there a way to automatically convert the characters, just like the Foreign Characters extension does?
