I’ve recently purchased a commercial copy of EE and am having the hardest time finding any documentation on creating a user registration form. My install did not come with any examples in the templates portion of the install. Actually it didn’t seem to come with many examples at all.

Where would one go about finding either:

    a) examples of such a form
    or
    b) documentation on how to create such a form

    My background is extensive LAMP.

    Thanks in advance,
    Matt

The membership area is handled via the member profile templates- not the standard templates found in the ‘Template’ tab.  They’re also handled by a different parse code, so a bit less flexible.

Before editing them- I’ll generally make a copy of the profile files and create a ‘New’ folder, so I still have the default templates for reference.

    That help?

    That helped considerably.

Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly.

Ah- you’re posting when we’re all awake- we’re speedy then!   Glad that helped- the member profile area is one of the trickier aspects of EE, so give a yell if you run into issues.
