boilerplate is a pretty basic css framework so you don’t have to throw too much rules away before going into production.
Not even the reset is always needed and sometimes it’s just extra work like for lists where the left padding is removed.
I think css frameworks really pay off when there are multiple designers otherwise creating your own (basic) framework will save you the most time in the end because you know it the best.
